2 Months Old

Well everyone my Liam is 9 weeks old today. Crazy how time is flying, he is such a good baby. We went for his 2 month check up and he is completely healthy! Liam is 11 pounds and 2 ounces and almost 23 inches long! He got those nasty shots when we were there he was a trooper, until about 8 pm that is when the slight fever came. 

His personality is really coming out, he is smiling all the time. It makes me so happy when he sees me he smiles, he recognizes his mommy. I think he is really trying to laugh but just hasn't mastered it yet. We are really working on tummy time and trying to roll over, he has done it a couple times on his daddy but not on flat ground. I know this may be TMI but Liam and I after he eats have poopy time! He sits on my legs and we smile at each other and I tickle him and well it is poopy time. He is so proud of himself when he is finished!

I have to go back to work on Thursday, I am not happy leaving him with someone else to take care of him. I carried him for 9 months and have been with him for 2 and a half months and now I have to give him up. It is just really hard letting go, Mike and I tried so hard for him and now I have to give him up. He is going to an amazing daycare, but he is so far away from me. It isn't fair. I have been observing a classroom for 5 hours the past couple weeks so that has been preparing me, but I may have to go back to Costco and I don't know how I am going to manage leaving him for that long. It will all work out I know. 

Well I hope to keep you guys posted on all of his new achievements, he is the cutest baby ever! I love him so much.
